Four Decades. One Obsession. Perfect Scorecards.
Pars and Paper is the golf scorecard brand of MCI Printing — a St. Louis print shop founded in 1984. We've spent 42+ years perfecting the art of the game's most handled keepsake.
Why Scorecards Matter
American Made
Every card printed in our St. Louis shop. Union labor. No overseas outsourcing, no drop-shipping from a warehouse you've never seen.
Golf Is All We Do
We know a bi-fold from a tri-fold, why your par-3 needs a different layout, and how to fit 18 holes of yardage without making it look cramped.
Quality You Can Feel
Premium stock that survives morning dew, cart holders, and back pockets. Your members notice the difference the moment they pick one up.
42+ Years on the Scorecard
MCI Printing Opens in St. Louis
Our parent company, MCI Printing, opens in St. Louis with a single press and a simple idea: every job deserves the care of a keepsake.
Word Spreads on the Range
MCI's scorecard work grows as head pros recommend the shop to their counterparts at other clubs, and golf printing becomes a house specialty.
Premium Stock, Premium Results
The shop introduces waterproof synthetic stock and coated one-side options. Tournament directors and resort courses take notice.
Online Ordering, Same Craftsmanship
Digital proofing and online ordering arrive so you can get a free proof in 24 hours. The press still runs in St. Louis. The standards haven't changed.
Pars and Paper Launches
MCI Printing's golf work gets a name of its own: Pars and Paper, a brand dedicated entirely to golf scorecards, yardage books, and pin sheets.
Meet Jake Icenhower
Vice President, MCI Printing
My parents started MCI Printing in St. Louis in 1984. I grew up around the presses, and I've spent the last 25 years in the shop — I run the day-to-day operations now. Printing is the family trade, and scorecards are the part of it I care about most.
A scorecard is the one piece of a course's brand that every player holds for four hours and takes home. It deserves better than a rushed job from a printer who has never walked a course. That's why we gave our golf work a name of its own — Pars and Paper — and why I put mine on it.
A scorecard is the only piece of your brand that every player touches, holds for four hours, and takes home. We've spent 42years making sure it's worth keeping.
